Why we built Inroll.
Most institutions don’t need more software. They need one system that actually fits how they already work.
Walk into most Tier 2 and Tier 3 schools and colleges in India and you’ll find the same thing: attendance in a paper register, marks in a spreadsheet, fee reminders in a WhatsApp group, and announcements pinned to a board. It works — until it doesn’t. Nothing talks to anything else, and the people running the place spend their days reconciling it all by hand.
The usual alternative is enterprise software that’s overpriced, overbuilt, and clearly designed for a different kind of institution. It gets bought, half-rolled out, and quietly abandoned.
We built Inroll to be the missing middle: one platform for attendance, timetables, marks and results, fees, parent communication, and a public website — with apps for teachers and for students and parents. Priced for the scale and budget of the institutions those two options keep failing.
